It is our great pleasure to invite you to participate at the “MINIMALLY INVASIVE GYNECOLOGIC SURGERY COURSE” that is taking place in ASA Institute Sarajevo on June 26th-28th, 2025. This course is designed for gynecologists who desire to advance their laparoscopic and hysteroscopic skills. This extensive three-day course will expose the participants to the knowledge and expertise of experienced laparoscopic surgeons, who will guide them through didactics and hands-on laparoscopic suturing.
Each participant will have the opportunity to optimize their learning experience and laparoscopic suturing technique. The course will focus on demonstration of retroperitoneal anatomy, electrosurgery and common laparoscopic procedures such as adnexal surgery and laparoscopic hysterectomy. We will also focus on diagnostic and operative hysteroscopy.

Course Objectives

At the conclusion of this activity, the participant will be able to:

  • Appraise skills learned to relevant pelvic anatomy, laparoscopic suturing and apply them to surgery including laparoscopic adnexal surgery and hysterectomy;
  • Explain the ergonomics, theory, and rationale for reproducible laparoscopic suturing;
  • Identify risk factors for laparoscopic complications and manage treatment of such.
  • We will also hold a special session for the Operating room personal and scrub nurses. The operating room personnel and scrub nurses are the integral part of the team ant they make our surgical procedures safer and smoother.
